SELFCLEANINGTHEOVEN
ElectricOven
The selfcleaning mode of your new range
featuresa pyrolytic self cleaning cycle. When set
to the CLEAN mode, the oven reaches a high
temperature of approximately 840°F/450°C that
burnsoff all foodresiduesfrom theinsideofthe

When the oven is set for CLEAN, the cooktop

Itis common toseesmokeand/orflames during
the clean cycle, depending on the content and
amount of greasy residues in the oven. If the
flame persists, turn off the oven and allow it to
cool before opening the door and wipe off the
excessive
residues.
Atthe end of the CLEANcycle, some greyashor
burnedresidue mayremaininsidetheoven.This
is a mineral deposit that does not burn or melt.
The amount of ash depends on how heavily
soiled the oven was before it was cleaned. It is
easily removed,
when the oven is cold, using a
damppapertowel,sponge,orcloth.
Wipe off any smoke residue that remains onthe
front frame with a cleaning product suitable for
oven cavity cleaning. Ifstainsremain, usea mild
liquid cleaner. The amount of smoke stain is
